Setting up the board…
How to play Fevga
The race
Each side has 15 checkers, all starting on one point. Yours start in the far right corner; the computer's start in the near left corner. Choose white (ivory, the default) or black under You play — the board turns so your home is always near right.
Both sides travel counter-clockwise. You move right → left along the far side, then left → right along the near side into your home board (near right), and bear off.
Roll two dice and move by each number. Doubles are played four times.
Who starts: each side throws one die and the higher starts — by rolling again, or (Settings → Play) by playing those two opening dice as the first move.
Fevga's special rules
No hitting. A single checker owns its point: nobody may land on a point the opponent occupies.
The runner. Until your first checker has passed the computer's starting point, you may move only that checker.
No full prime. You may not hold six points in a row unless at least one opposing checker is already in front of them.
Keep your starting quarter open. You may never occupy all six points of your starting quarter (your points 19–24).
Play both dice when you can; if only one can be played, it must be the larger.
Bearing off & scoring
Once all 15 are in your home board, bear off by exact roll, or with a higher number from your highest point.
First to bear off all 15 wins 1 point; mars (the loser has borne off none) scores 2.
